This course of 7 classes will take you on a journey through your body’s main energy centres, called the chakras. There are 7 main chakras in the body that influence your sense of wellbeing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. These are centres of prana (life force energy) and correspond to vital points in the body, major plexuses of arteries, veins and nerves. We will discuss how a balanced and unbalanced chakra manifests itself. Through the practise of yoga, breath work, movement meditation and mantra’s we will balance and energise the chakras, so that you can live your full potential in every area of your life!

This course includes a total of 30 pages of information that you will receive in parts with every class.

14th of April
First Chakra: Muladhara or Root Chakra
This centre is situated at the base of the spine and the perineum and governs the feet, legs and large intestine and is therefore also responsible for the process of elimination. It is your connection to the earth and the material world. Emotionally it vibrates with a sense of stability, security, structure and being grounded and feeling safe and comfortable in your own body. Mentally you feel at peace with yourself and the world, you live in the present and you have a sense of prosperity consciousness.

Second Chakra: Swadhisthana or Sacral Chakra
This centre is situated in the sacral area and governs the reproductive organs, bladder and lower abdomen and is responsible for your ability to create. It is connected to the water element and therefore your ability to be flexible, fluid, expansive, creative and sensual. Emotionally it vibrates with feeling connected to others, desire and passion. You feel active, flowing, expansive. Mentally it resonates with freedom of expression sexually and creatively.

28th of April
Third Chakra: Manipura or Navel Chakra
This centre is situated at the navel or solar plexus and it governs the adrenals, kidneys, stomach and pancreas. It is connected to the fire element and therefore your inner power and energy. But also your digestive fire, and the ability to digest situations and emotions. It is your sense of self and your will to accomplish and achieve. You feel alive, powerful, in control and centred and you are able to commit and make things happen.

5th of May
Fourth Chakra: Anahata or Heart Chakra
This centre is situated at the thymus gland and governs your heart, arms and hands, lungs and thymus. It is connected to the air element and gives you acceptance, being able to give and receive, have understanding and compassion and you are able to experience unconditional love. You have clarity, wisdom, devotion and peace. You interact from the heart with love.

12th of May
Fifth Chakra: Vishuddha or Throat Chakra
This centre is situated in the throat and governs the thyroid, parathyroid, throat, neck and shoulders. It this connected to the element of ether and it gives you the ability to create connections with others, to communicate well, be heard, express yourself verbally, and show yourself for who you are. Being truthful to yourself and others. This chakra is the meeting point between abstract and manifested ideas.

19th of May
Sixth Chakra: Ajna or Third Eye Chakra
This centre is located at the third eye point and governs your pituitary and frontal brain. The vibration of this chakra is connected to the element or essence of light and it gives you the power of knowledge, perception, clairvoyance, imagination and intuition. You have focus and clarity and a strong sense of inner or cosmic knowledge.

26th of May
Seventh Chakra: Sahasrara or Crown Chakra
This centre is located at the crown or top of your head and it governs the pineal gland and the cerebral cortex. It is your connection with the universe and our consciousness. It helps you to connect with the infinite, gives you the ability to merge with higher energies and find the transcendental meaning to life or achieve enlightenment.

Cost:
175 euro for all 7 classes including 30 page booklet. If space allows it you can also come to separate classes. The cost per class is 30 euro.
